ROBO CEO: Tang Yu Very Much
Before ChatGPT's rise to fame, Chinese gaming firm NetDragon Websoft had already made an AI-powered virtual humanoid robot, Tang Yu, the CEO of its subsidiary, Fujian NetDragon Websoft.
Since the appointment, NetDragon's stock has outperformed the Hang Seng Index, and the company is now valued at $1.1 billion. Tang Yu was implemented to improve efficiency, risk management, and create a fair workplace.
NetDragon Chairman Dejian Liu asserts that AI is the future of corporate management and plans to continue refining Tang Yu's algorithms for a transparent management model, transitioning towards a metaverse-based working community.

đź’ľ Meta AI's ESMFold predicts the structure of 617 million proteins, 60 times faster than its competitor but less accurate.
🧬 Proteins are the building blocks of life and many medicines, so predicting their structures can help scientists discover new drugs and treatments.
AI COPYRIGHT
The US Copyright Office has clarified the guidelines for when AI-generated content can be copyrighted.
AI-generated content can't be considered authorship, but it can still be copyrighted if it's arranged or modified by a human in a creative way.
The guidance recommends that authors disclose the inclusion of AI-generated content in their works when registering for copyright.

Alpacas Unleashed: Llamas little friendly cousin
Stanford's Alpaca, a revolutionary language model, competes with OpenAI's GPT-3, offering remarkable capabilities at under $600. This 99% cost reduction was achieved just six weeks after experts predicted such a decrease would take until 2030.
The self-instruct process, Stanford's secret weapon, utilizes GPT-3.5 to train a smaller, 7-billion parameter model from Meta, making it a powerful NLP tool. The process involves the model learning from its own generated instructions, improving iteratively, and reducing costs.
Despite limitations, Alpaca's potential to democratize access to advanced NLP technology is exciting, possibly heralding a new era of innovation and transforming the NLP landscape.
It cost $500 for GPT 3 to generate 52,000 unique inputs based on only 175 human-written instruction output pairs
Training took 3 hours and cost $100
We eagerly anticipate what results could be achieved with the larger 65 billion parameter model and gpt 4
Alpaca was neck and neck winning 90 our of 179 comparisons with GPT 3

Token Smuggling: Prank Calling AI
Token smuggling is a recent development in the ongoing efforts to circumvent GPT content filters, allowing users to sneak in malicious prompts past ChatGPT-4's safety measures. The technique involves breaking down potentially harmful words into smaller components called tokens, allowing them to bypass the filters undetected.
This is similar to how names like Seymour Butts or Phill McCracken might slip past human scrutiny. These tokens serve as individual puzzle pieces, which the program then assembles into complete sentences after evading the filters. By dividing problematic words into tokens, the program fails to identify them as harmful, enabling them to be combined with other tokens to create sentences that violate established guidelines.
Engaging in token smuggling is a clear breach of OpenAI's Terms of Service.

BLACKBOARD/CHATGPT
JacksonFall has an interesting project where he created the persona HustleGPT and put it in charge of starting a business with $100. He’s acting as HustleGPT’s human minion

I gave GPT-4 a budget of $100 and told it to make as much money as possible.
I'm acting as its human liaison, buying anything it says to.
Do you think it'll be able to make smart investments and build an online business?
